a non profit
community of sisters in Christ, formed
in faith and friendship

Our Team
Katherine Loiselle and Marnie Wynans, founders of the Beloved Catholic Women's Retreat. Friends since 2017, they quickly realized they had the same desire for a deep Catholic friendship, and more connections to women in the Diocese. God brought them together and gave them the Beloved Women's retreat as their gift and mission. Behind the scenes are more incredible women such as Katherine Babcock our artistic director and Cathy Higginson, our secretary and registrar.
THE RETREATS

2018
Heather Khym was our first retreat leader and we were so blessed to start our journey with her. With the theme BELOVED:SEEKING THE HEART OF JESUS, she helped us prepare for Advent by inviting the Lord to shine light on the dark, hidden places in our hearts that need healing.

2022
Laura O'Reilly from Ottawa took us into the heart of our Blessed Mother and her full trust in God. She helped us give our FIAT to the Lord.

2025
2025 RESTORE
Megan Turland, CCO Alumni, wife of Ben, and mother of 4, showed us how we can be restored in body, mind and spirit in 2025, We powerfully studied the Gospel of Mark 5; the healing of the little girl and the woman with the hemorrhage.

2019
Angele Regnier, co founder of Catholic Christian Outreach led us with the theme Merciful Love. We explored how our reconciliation with others, brings us into a closer relationship with God.

2023
Fr Chrysostom Mijinke OP, an original member of the Beloved Retreat team was a natural choice for our 2023 retreat "Flourish". Inspired by his talk in 2022, the women asked for more, and what better way than as our keynote!

2021
After a COVID 19 break, in RADIANT LOVE, we resumed with Fr John O'Brien SJ. Fr John led us to discover our beauty and radiance as God's Beloved daughters .

2024
Sarah Kaczmarek, Executive Director of Encounter Ministries all the way from Detroit Michigan, led our 2024 retreat. AGAPE. We went deep into God's sacrificial love for us, with a fun Narnia theme. We explored the example of Aslan, and also claimed our identities a Beloved Daughters of the Most High King.
